MJ Quarter Horses is located just East of Sarnia, Ontario at the Yellow Rose Horse Farm, owned by Pat and Marlene Haslam. Located close to the Port Huron/Sarnia border it is easy access to and from the United States.

Matt and Jane Thomson have been in the Quarter Horse business for most of their lives and have participated in many different disciplines from yearling longe liners, western pleasure, cross country, barrel racing and most recently reining. 

Matt has had several successful futurity horses including top ten finishers and champions in longe line, western pleasure, and reining. In 2002 Matt finished fourth overall in Rookie and third in Limited Non Pro for the Ontario Reining Horse Association on Jays Sugar Amos.   

After years of barrel racing Jane entered the reining show pen in 2000 and was the High Point Horse of ORHA with Tabus In Command. In 2002 Jane finished first in ORHA Limited Non Pro and ninth in the world in NRHA Limited Non Pro also with Tabus In Command.
